Question: How can i learn to pick really fast on a guitar!?
I have an Ibanez Gio gax75 and i regard myself as sort of intermediate, i can play most songs but its always the solos that catch me out!.!.!. For example, black sabbath paranoid, i can play the whole song up to the first half of the solo, (up to the second bend on the fifteenth fret) and then comes all the pull-offs, i have the feeling this style of playing is called 'supec' or something, anyway, i want help to play that type of thing, hammer on pull off onto higher or lower strings if u get what i mean!.!.!. From your description, I have to ask how well you know and can play Pentatonic Scales!.!.!. It sounds to me like you are more interested in doing simple things like hammer ons and pull offs and have ignored the basic technique of playing pentatonic scales!.!.!.
Just an observation!.!.!. but I'll bet I could make a big difference in your playing if I could give you a one hour lesson!.!.!. so, since that isn't going to happen unless you come to the Caribbean!.!.!. you may want to work with a Guitar Teacher for an hour or so and see if they can help you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
practice, practice, practice, sometimes its alot easier to use your fingers, and thats what i actually prefer most of the time!.
Some people have told me they've tried to use a pic on "Silent Lucidity" it just doesnt work, so if its a song like that, lose the pick
