orchestra conductor's head during a perf

Question: What's going on in a choir/band/orchestra conductor's head during a performance!?

I know they have to keep time and everything, but I'm just wondering what goes on in their heads when they're up there on stage directing a huge ensemble before a huge audience!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
