How do I learn playing an electric guitar?

Question: How do I learn playing an electric guitar!?

*) I don't have a guitar, do I need to start by an acoustic guitar!?
*) I don't have a tutor, I just want to do it for fun
*) So, are there tutorials or how do I learn that!?

buying an acoustic guitar would be cheaper, but you can start out with an electric one!. and i've been teaching myself to play guitar for a while now and this site really helps!.!.!.

you can type searches online for videos of how to play!. there are free lessons and free videos!. you can buy a book at barnes and noble or border's or find a book on how to play and teach yourself!. most people suggest buying an acoustic guitar first to learn playing an electric guitar later!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
