Question: I need a melody!.!?
is anyone really good @ writing melodies!?i wrote this and i am making it into a song:as i look through the eyes of a couple in love!.i can see only magic&dreams!.
when i look at his face i can see him shinning,i can always tell when his heart beams!.
he is so proud of her,she is so proud of him&together the'll start there new life
he hands her the gold ring,she gratelly accepts it and now they are husband and wife!.
he kisses her softly as his mom starts crying everyone cheers and waves goodbye!.
they realize how happy their life has now become they will be married until they die!.
she is now the diamond among all his dirt and hes playing the same role as her!.
thats all i can fit but yeah its pretty much like that!.
i was going to read it as a poem but really want to sing it and either play the piano or guitar!.!.give me some notes that would sound nice along winth the lyrics!.!.its for my bros weddign in november!.!.im an alto but can sing reasonably high soprano!.!.!.k thanks=Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey, look, I wasn't going to reply cuz usually I'm not motivated to do stuff like this - I've been trying to focus on writing my own stuff, which is all progressive indie stuff (somewhere between Coheed and Cambria, Silversun Pickups, and Deftones I suppose) - but it so annoyed me to see some stuck up self-righteous "musician" put you down that I immediately grabbed my guitar and wrote you a quick little melody!.
I usually sing in the key of G, so I hope you can do something with it!.

It's a little simple, but it's pretty easy, I think!. One note per syllable except where I've marked a "-", i'm trying to indicate a slide (one syllable, two notes)!. The first two lines is the melody I came up with for each line of your lyrics - yeah, it's a little repetetive, but it's pretty easy I think!.
I really like that G G G E E E part - I meant that to line up with the "see only magic and dreams" portion, with "magic" lining up with that first E!. It's a major sixth - emotional and sweet!.
The last two lines are for the last line of your lyrics, the one starting G G G is "she is now"!. The C-B is meant to be the "and" portion of "and he's playing!.!.!."
I think it's a cool slide!. =)
