You are a brilliant musician, but I think you really need the piano accompaniment!.

The harmonies written in for the piano during the intro change the mood of the piece!.
also, during the next section, with your double stops and plucking!.!.!. it doesn't make much sense in the overall piece without the piano part!. The piano is what carries the melody through this section- YOU are the accompaniment for that part, adding emphasis to the rhythms, and filling out the chord for the small piano runs!

Even if a piece is labelled as "For Solo Violin with Piano Accompaniment"!.!.!. remember that it is a duet!.

Two of my most played clarinet pieces are Mozart's "Clarinet Concerto in A Major, K!.622" and "Sonata for Clarinet and Piano, Op!. 167" by St!. Saens!.!.!. despite the titles, both are duets- neither works without piano!.

Yes, without piano, I could play them both musically, paying attention to dynamics and phrasing!. And yes, without piano, they are both very melodic pieces with some technical passages and interesting rhythmic patterns!. And even if I only played one movement, yes, without piano, it could keep an audience entertained for a few minutes!.

However, it would be doing a great disservice to myself, the composer, and the audience!.

No matter how virtuosic you might be, the main job of a musician is NOT to play the notes perfectly, but to communicate with people through the music!.!.!. or bring the music to people!.

I am not trying to lecture, so please don't take this as me shaking my finger at you! :) I am just trying to make a point!.!.!. it is a different piece of music WITHOUT the piano part, and the audience -(AND YOURSELF)- would be missing out on a great experience!.

It is a beautiful piece, so if you can, please try to get piano accompaniment!. If money is the issue, try stopping by a college music department!.!.!. there are many pianists that can handle this piece, and might even do it for free!

Again, you're awesome, so I don't think I need to tell you to break a leg- but I will anyways! "Break a leg" and remember to have fun- love what you do!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Youtube is lame when it comes to syncing audio to videos!. I think you could do it without piano accompaniment however I would not recommend it because I think it would sound beautiful with the piano!. Remember good music means to sound good, not try to see if you are better than someone else, or better without an instrument!. My motto has always been "If it sounds good, than do it!. If it sounds bad, try to improve it"!. My personal opinion would have to be do it with the piano, it would sound alot better!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You'll definitly can go solo without a piano with those skills!. :] As long as you think it'll be better!. Good luck with the show!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do it with the accompaniment!. It will add vibrancy and life to the peformance!. That is why the part was written!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
