I don't suggest it!. I mean, it's awesome that you can sing Phantom of the Opera, but in highschool, probably 30% of the students will appreciate it!. The rest won't really care, or be bored!.

Don't let the talent go to waste though!.!.!. Either sing a different, more popular song, or just sing phantom of the opera in a different place - try local coffee clubs or stuff like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd not be bored and want to kick them off, but I don't go to your school!. On American Idol Simon, Randy and Paula often like the voice of a song but critique the choice!. I'd think you'd want to do something that you knew people were going to like rather than take a chance on something off the wall considering the venue!. It's a contest and you want to win!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends on how well you sing it!. If you sound good (sing in front of a trust Simon-esque friend first) then go ahead!. is it Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again!? that song would be fine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That depends on how much respect you have for diverse styles of music, or if you want to exclude people who "don't do it like you"!. That doesn't sound like a school - it sounds like a clique!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
