Question: Starting Out On Guitar!?

I got an acoustic guitar for my birthday, & I'm so excited to learn, but I don't have a book or anything!. I don't know how to play any chords or anything at all, and no one I know is any help!. Can you recommend a website or something to show me how to start out!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

ultimate-guitar!.com is great!. sooo much free tabs and chord stuff!. each songs give a chord diagram!. as for strumming, u gonna go on uTube or get a guy to help u!. Most guys play the basic chords and strum alrite

I will recommend a great little book by Roger Evans called:
HOW TO PLAY GUITAR (Everything You Need To Know
To Play The Guitar)!.
Any major bookstore should carry it or maybe it can be ordered via internet!. The cost is $10!.95 and it is written in a very clear language and includes easy to play examples!.

I don't know today where can you get a book that describes everything about choosing a guitar, tuning, playing chords,with scales in different keys that cost you $11!.00

This little book of 124 pages will always serve you as a good
reference to go back to later on!.

Get a chord book, or, a poster that has chords!. Some chord books fit in your guitar case!. The poster, you don't have fumble through a book while trying to learn!.

also try your local music store to see if they can recommend a good instructor, or, check out your local parks and recreation through the city to see if they offer any guitar lessons!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
