Well, I was born into a musical family, but both parents were rockers, And luckily, my mom and I moved into my grandmothers home when i was 3, and when I was 5, my grandma introduced me to The Phantom of the Opera, And ever since I heard the tapes, I was obsessed, and would imitate Christine the best I could in her living room, still do, and That musical served to be my only vocal teacher, because know one would get me a real coach, so Phantom was all I had, So if it weren't for Phantom, I wouldn't be able to sing the way I do or be interested in the music I am now, and would have never discovered where my true vocal talent lies, in Broadway!. So because of that musical, my vocal range went from alto to soprano with a few years of self training and mimicking, And also, When I first met my husband, He and I would have hour long conversations about Phantom, and how he had always related to him and I to Christine, And that just made us fall in love with eachother even more!.!.!.its a very important part of our marriage!.!.!.I hope this helps!!!!

I started playing flute in the 4th grade!. We had the choice of woodwinds or brass, but no percussion!. When they held auditions for percussion, I went to try out and didn't make it!. I was absolutely heartbroken! I instantly wanted to quit music, but my mom forced me not to!. I was always advanced in music, going through middle school I quit the flute, picked up the oboe, then I quit the oboe and started the tuba!. I was a very advanced player, but I never really was able to express myself in music, and it bothered me that people said that I was so good, but I really didn't feel anything!. My sophomore year in high school, my uncle passed away and I was absolutely devistated!. The evening that he passed away, I had a rehearsal which my mother convinced me to go to!. We were playing a piece called "Do not go gentle into the night!." While we were playing, I looked up at my conductor, looked around at the rest of the symphonic band, and just started to cry!. It was the most memorable moment of my life!. In my eyes, that was the moment that I became a musician!. Now, I play tuba professionally in an orchestra!. It is the most rewarding job ever!Www@QuestionHome@Com
