Is there a point in a 20yr old taking lessons and attempting to learn how to play or am I too old to learn!? I always wanted to learn but never got around to it but decided that I want to do something for myself and this was my #1 idea!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes there is a point!. You can learn to play guitar at any age!. It is unfair however to ask how long it will take before hand as this time period varies from individual to individual!. Id advise you to start by learning how to play power chords, then you can pretty much play your accoustic like a Wii Guitar Hero controller and have something sounding fairly decent!. Experiment with lifing your finger off various strings as this is how you change a chord through majors, minors, 7ths, etc!. A little bit of this type of experimentation and you will be sounding even better!. Good Luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com your never too old!!! age has NOTHING to do with whether you can learn guitar or not!. how long does it take!? well, depends on how fast you catch on, and how fast of a learner you are!. anyways, LEARN GUITAR! your not too old, and its always cool to learn an instrument! you get to play along with your favorite songs and what not, you can even create your own songs!. guitar is fun, don't let this opportunity slip away!Www@QuestionHome@Com it depends how good you want to be!. you're old enough where getting your hands to do the work will be a little tougher than when you were younger!. but if you work at it they'll get better, it starts off harder then gets easier!. some people though just don't have rhythm, and are tone deaf, and this can really make it more difficult to learn!. for others it's just easier!. so how fast you progress depends on you and how hard you try!.Www@QuestionHome@Com It depends on how much you put into it!. If you can't play at least one HOUR a DAY then it will take 4 or 5 years, but if you can practice an hour a day, or more, you can be playing pretty well in a year or two!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I teach music and it really depends on how willing you are to learn it, what your musical background is and if you are willing to do the baby stuff before totally rocking out on it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
