Is there any really good sites for learning how to play frets or tabs?

Question: Is there any really good sites for learning how to play frets or tabs!?

I recently bought a bass guitar and I'm having allot of trouble learning how to tabs because any time I try play something like A3 or A6 either sound the same for me or it just sounds bad like i have my finger on the chord to hard
