Question: Guitar hero!?

Forget software guitar heroes!. Who is actually doing something interesting on the guitar nowadays!? Who is playing in a way people weren't playing ten years ago!?

I don't mean faster or louder (necessarily)!. All that was done in the 90s by Steve Vai and Joe Satriani!. I mean who is actually breaking new musical ground!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Good music is something that lasts for centuries and not for the weeks that magazines and childish karaoke programmes can maintain interest!.

Guitar playing has as much to do with speed as cuisine has to do with heat!.

The guitar goes back 4,000 years to when its neck and body were recognised as the embodiment of womanhood!.
