I want to learn to play guitar amazingly?

Question:i've tried teaching myself, but it's a lost cause.
is there any way i could become good without a
teacher? i hear guitarmasterpro.net is good, but
are those sites just a rip off?
anyone? i need to learn, it's been a dream for years.

you can download or watch instructional videos by virtuoso guitarists. that way you will be able to practice your technique well, try with john petrucci, richie kotzen, paul gilbert and a lot more. and look for a site where you can learn music theory.

It is extreamley easy. I learned to play great in 1 and a half weeks. It is the easiest instrument you can learn.

I know it sucks, but you just have to practice, practice, practice. Practice makes perfect.
