DO NOT buy the susato plastic krummhorns. they really ARE nasty sounding. But a well-tuned consort of krummhorns is a beautiful sound.

You know, I was actually looking for the same thing just the other day. I remembered my high school music teacher bringing one in for us to try, and I remember it being the most awful sound I had ever heard from an instrument.
Don't know where you would find one though, have you tried e-bay?
