Success is very relative. I am a musician and writer, and I like to think I'm pretty good, but I'm definitely not known throughout the world. I'm not saying that you won't be. What I mean is that you should just do what you love and believe in. Financial success should just be perk.

Write better songs then!

hmmmm. im not a professional, but why dont u try asking reality tv shows like the x-factor or american idol? u might wana contact them :).

you need to join songwriting competition. the thing is you need to showcase yourself. Thats the best way you can be noticed. be sure you have great songs to showcase b/c that will be the basis for you to be contacted & have popular singers to sing your masterpieces. Thats how a songwriter gets successful.

keep working at it keep contacting different labels with new material ask them why they did not like you and take constructive critism

You take the sheet music for your songs with you and you walk into the office of an agent... play the music on the piano and sing it.

Just because people your age think you can do everything on the internet... the truth is.. you MUST go in to see people IN PERSON and you MUST demonstrate your product... nobody is going to take your word for it that a song is good.

the other thing is, you can take your songs and the music in standard notation and take it to bands and ask them to play it.

You need to get known and you aren't going to do that on youtube.

The reality is there might just be nothing special, or not easily forgettable about you... so you gotta' have a backup plan.

But if you're really serious, then go to L.A. or NY or somewhere with a good music scene, and try to get a band or backup group together and do some gigs to get noticed. Sending stuff to a label isn't gonna get you noticed, you know how much sh*t they get? Ya gotta get out there and shove whatever "wow" you've got in you down their throat.

Hi,
I would first of all go to web search. And ask that question.
Paramont is looking for song writters right now I think Check things out,and don't be afraid to take a chance.
God Bless You.

If at first you don't succeed, give up. There's no point in being a bloody fool about it.
