I want to become drum major for our marching band?

Question:I really want to be drum major for my junior and senior year......I don't think many people will try out. Even though I've been practicing and stuff....I feel like there is still something I need to know. What would a normal audition be like?

a normal audition is the band director hands you a piece of music and you play it. thats all there is mostly to it. follow your dreams.

Can you keep time... can you read a drum score?... good... keep trying.
