That's a very hard question, you could go from $900.00 for a used one, up to thousands for a new one. You would have to shop around and get estimates. Check with pawn shops, and watch your newspapers !!!!!!!! Also supermarket bulletin boards, good luck !!!!!!!!

A beginners cello outfit will cost about $800. This will include cello, bow, soft case and rosin.
Make sure you buy it from a proper violin/cello shop so that it is set up correctly.
