yes

It can be done. But it takes a lot of self-discipline, and hours of practice. A teacher will help you with technique, and having a regular lesson to prepare for gives you direction and motivation to be ready. At a minimum you need a mentor that you can check in with every once in a while to give pointers.

There are many electronic keyboards put out by Yamaha and Casio that have instructional programs. My Yamaha has a piano tutor that teaches you note by note, left or right hand, and both hands. Its a great way to get started, but it doesn't take the place of formal instruction, or my favorite way of learning, by jamming with other musicians. Hope this helps.

Trust me, it can be done!! i have taught meself how to play paino, make sure you learn how to read base and treble cleif instead of writing in the notes. You may think it is easy at first bu i just hurts you in the end, trust me!! Also make sure that you have the right form with your hands.

Yes, if you have the desire to learn piano (or any instrument, really). And you have to have determination to keep going, even if it's difficult at first.

Good luck!

You can teach yourself - if you only want to get good enough so that you are the only one who wants to LISTEN to yourself! If you want to teach yourself how to waste time, fool around, read incorrectly, use poor hand position, make counting mistakes, never learn to phrase musically, be ignorant of pedal technique, etc. - then by all means, be cheap and teach yourself. If you actually want to learn to play decently -and correctly - then GO GET SOME LESSONS. Of course, what do I know? I have only been a professional in this business for 35 years.
