Question:I'm 15 and I'm going to buy my first acoustic guitar soon :D

I was just wondering what other things should I buy that should go with my guitar? Oh and does a case always comes with the guitar?

I recently go my daughter her first guitar. She is doing fine with just the guitar and the amp... I bought a relatively cheap guitar to start with too.. There is really no reason to spend a whole lot until you are sure you enjoy playing.. You can always upgrade later..

Cases are not always included.
If you can afford a hard shell case get it.
Gig bags are ok, but not all that
protective.

Guitar strap? or maybe a good
stool.

A music stand is a good idea if you plan
on reading much sheet music or tabs.
Sometimes a guitar stand is nice to have.
If I had a dollar for every time someone's guitar
fell over and got nice ding in it because
it was leaning against a table or chair...another
15 or 20 dollars. Look for deals.

Guitar picks, extra strings, a soft cloth
for cleaning your instrument after practice
or a performance. A capo. I see a lot of
them in my friends guitar cases, but I've
rarely see them used.

The case doesn't always come with the guitar, but cases are generic and easy to find. I'd buy a tuner with a mic and a capo, which is required for some songs like Wonderwall and Collide. And by about a dozen picks, because I'll bet money you'll lose about half of them in the first week, everyone does haha. If your not taking lessons, buying a beginners lesson book couldn't hurt either.
