Check all the posts in this blog to learn guitar scales and chord. You will get a clear image about how the chords are placed on the fretboard of guitar by looking those images. You can enlarge the images by clicking on it.
for ur study it may be helpful

good choice.

I would say "no". I mean, I am sure that guitar is fine, but I would suggest going to your local guitar shop or craigslist.org and buying a used guitar. You will get a better quality guitar for not much more than the $90+ you would spend on the Dean.

The best thing you can do is try before you buy. The fingering action means a great deal on any guitar. The next is sound. What type of Amp is going to work well with your selection? If you're going to take classes it may be wise to spend as much as you can on a better instrument so don't forget about the used markets.

I want the Vendetta 4.0.... it's AWESOME!!! I've been using a Dean for about 8 years. Awesome quality.

You pay for what you get. The fingerboad is far from being food especially the edge. You can feel the roughness and gets aggravating. It's not a smooth fingerboard like good quality or even an average quality guitar.

But dont expect miracle for the price. What gives tone and sound quality is relevant to how old the wood is aged which is not the case for this make and model.

if you r gunna stick to it than go for it my first was beringer i sux now i haw a dean mlxl idk if the pick ups are the same but i don't like them

it is a good choice but may i suggest that you go to musiciansfreind.com they have a great selection of good quality guitars. Some come with amps cases and everything with 50% off of the retail value.
