What is Pops-Style Seating?

Question:I'm going to a Boston Symphony concert and the website says the seating will be "Pops-Style Seating." I don't know what that means. Can anyone help me?

the rows of seats on the floor are removed and replaced with tables. Its a Boston Pops tradition.

Sounds like some sort of reference to the Boston Pops more casual concerts.
