just feel the music. feel the love of what you're doing.. just think of everything thats good. and then perform. imagine. conceptualize. it will help you make your performance better. now, stage fright is all in the mind...being afraid is a state of mind. just think of it as a practice... just go there and do what you love, and do best! you'll shine. its your time. do it. trust yourself. take deep breaths and trust yourself.

just dont think about it ..... just tell yourself that you will sing better if your not nervous...and just keep thinking your not gonna let your nerves get to you ..... youll do bad if your nervous ...so just try not to be

i'm going through almost the same thing.first perform in front of one person then 2,3,4,5,6, and on.GOOD LUCK!

pretend to be someone else when you perform, then you are acting, once you get into the part you will stop being nervous, everytime you think about being nervous quickly think about something else. tell yourself how fab u r and how much u deserve this, also it is good to feel this way, everyone is scared from time to time. good luck darling and let us know if u get the part. bet u do

The more you try the better you get... Go now and capture the attention of your family and show them you can overcome this. Remember you are acting so why worry about it it is not really you anyways.

I find repetition is the best way. eventually after enough performances you get used to being on stage for an audience.
also know your part and knowing that your doing it as a well as you can play it helps.

Stage fright is just a specialized kind of fear of the unknown. The two best ways to overcome it is preparatiuon and repetition. Know your audition material cold and the more you audition, the better you'll get at it and you'll have less and less stage fright.

Firstly, you will never completely overcome stage fright. No one does. It is natural to be concerned about how your performance will go. You will always have some stage fright which is a good thing. If you weren't just a little bit scared, then I'd be worried about you.

Stage fright comes from a desire to impress people mixed with a fear of rejection. When you have too much stage fright, it is definitely a bad thing. It causes you to perform less than your best.

There is a fabulous book called "The Inner Game of Music" that will definitely help yo to overcome your stage fright. Believe me, it's worth the read. Hope this helps!!

A little bit of stage fright is a good thing. It gets your adrenalin flowing, and gives you that extra bit of energy needed to make your performance great.

Now to keep the stage fight at a manageable level... Remember why you are on stage. You love what it is you do, whether it is piano, voice, acting, etc. You have something to say and share with the audience. You know you do, because you spent time and effort preparing it.

The audience made an effort to be there to see you perform.
Why would you want to negate all that preparation and disappoint the audience by not giving them all that you can?

Know that the feeling you have is your body telling you that it's there for you to give you the extra energy you need to do your best. It is not telling you to hide out in the bathroom!!! Don't misread the message.

Go out there and do a great job, and have fun.

try to be less conscious of yourself and be CONFIDENT. :) Many people will have this problem but its up to you whether you want to overcome it or not.
