Musicians who have gone to conservatory?

Question:How many hours a day did you actually practice? By yourself? In a group? Mostly, I'm wondering where did you find the motivation to practice? (Just curious, not planning on going, and haven't been.)

You find the motivation to practice in loving to play your instrument, wanting it right. Wanting for what you play to be perfect. You would practice as much as you needed or could afford the time for. Two or four hours per day of individual practice would not be unusual at all.
