Getting back into playing flute. Any recomendation for books- scales, inventions

Question:Recently got a new flute..I played for 12+ years and my flute was stolen. I just need some good music suggestions to help me get practiced up and into it again

I would reccomend play-a-long books. They help with reading and tuning. Anderson etudes are great and the parascale books are also good. It really depends on your level though.

You missed your flute pretty bad. Who would steal a flute? That's cold.

Suggest you go learn a new instrument and then pick up the flute.
