Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: does the flute employ different registers? what are they? how do they sound?

The flute essentially uses three registers. The lowest octave sound rich and sometimes hollower, with more palpable intensity. The second register or octave has more of a lyrical and melodious quality, with clarity and brightness. The third register - and even a fourth, as flutists explore higher notes - becomes increasingly penetrating and brilliant as the notes ascend.

i think it just touches the heart.no words to explain my feelings wen i hear the FLUTE.
