Is the part I got good? Or Bad?

Question:I just auditioned for my high school's Musical "The pajama Game" and I got the part of 'Mara'. Is that part good or bad?? I mean, I looked at the script and well, I only have two lines. But do I sing at all?? Am I active?? I dont really know the pajama game that well, so I dont know who my character is or what she does in this play.
Any help???

There's a famous old theatre saying: "There are no small parts, only small actors."

I suggest you read the script. Then - make the most of that character you possibly can. Go all out, full-speed-ahead with TONS of energy, throw caution to the winds, etc. Knock 'em dead!

With only two lines, it's unlikely that your character will have any effect on the plot. Just play that part the best you can.

Get the dvd and watch it and remember there are no bad parts or small parts only small actors.
