I have an audition for the musical Grease. What songs should I try?

Question:I've been searching for ages trying to find songs with a similar feel to the show. I thought I had one (Girl for all Seasons from Grease 2) but the sheet music was never realeased. Any ideas? I'm really sweating since the audtion is on monday, =)

It is all going to depend on your vocal range. You do not want to pick a song that is out of your range which is highly important, here's a listing of songs from wikipedia. Look them over and try them out.

1. Hopelessy Devoted To You
2. Look at me I'm Sandra Dee
3. It's rainin on prom night
4. These are the worst things I can do
5. We go together

try is it called party queen

My favorite song was from the original Grease when Olivia John sang her solo about ..."mine is not the first heart broken..etc." I don't know the title. Good luck1

OH, I think it is "Hopelessly devoted to you".

Well defiantly don't sing "we go together" there is a lot of hard words in there to sing like Chang Chang changitty chang showp but the song "whats that playing on the radio" is a great song (all songs from Grease1)Hope this helps
