I think u would b better off being n band or orchestra b/c unless u r a very good singer or plan on becoming a professional singer, u could teach yourself 2 sing easier than 2 play an instrument. An instument is a great thing 2 learn and accomplish.

But if singing is ur passion, then go for it!!!!!!

well if you play a instrument then take ochestra cos it will look better on youre CV but if you cant take quire

i'd start out with band or ochestra, b/c its really easy to get behind with that and choir you can jump right in the next year

I took orchestra all through middle and high school (then joined choir again my snr yr). Unless you want to march for band, do orchestra. instruments always look good later in life, like on a college application. with orchestra, you'll never have to march in parades and stuff! :) plus orchestra is awesome.

you should take band for sure!! First of all because music helps you be successful in school. Students with experience in music performance scored 51 points higher on the verbal portion of the SAT and 39 points higher on the math portion of the SAT than students with no coursework or experience in the performing arts. Secondly because you form a special bond with the other band students who share a similar interest as you.

Don't worry about being behind on anything, just try what you think you're going to enjoy more. I have a friend that started band in 7th grade because she took pe in 6th, and now she's first chair in the high school band and will probably get scholarships. Time can only help a person so much, so if you really have a passion for it but start late, you'll still do fine =)
