I played alto sax for 8 years straight. I was 1st chair alto sax in concert band; lead alto sax in jazz band. Tried to keep playing in college, but got too busy. I really miss playing =(

Tried playing tenor in high school, but couldn't get the hang of it. I always wanted to play soprano.

I started playing at the beginning of this school year. I play the Tenor sax.

I also mainly play the clarinet. I've played that for nearly 4 years. Obviously nowhere near the first answerer.

I've played tenor sax for about 3 1/2 years now, plus the flute for 5 1/2 years, and the piccolo for 3 1/2 years. Music classes quite a bit of fun. =]

Whats the difference between a Gentleman and a saxophonist? A Gentleman might know how to play the sax but chooses not to!!

I have played alto sax for a year and 2 months.

and I also play the bassoon, for the past 5 months. and flute for 5 years.

My husband plays the alto sax. Started in sixth grade, played all through junior high, high school and at our university. So I guess about 15 years now.
