Want to leran guitar. help please?

Question:ok well i have an electric guitar and and electric acoustic guitar. but i have no idea how to play it. i can play the drums but the guitar is so different lol so i was wondering if neone knew a good site that will teach u basics and how to read musics and if possible different techniques. i'd prefer it free. thanx

One of the best sources is the book Guitar for Dummies. Myself and some other have used it and I think it is a great reference for teaching yourself.

Wholenote.com is a good web site with all kinds of guitar lessons and articles.

The guitar section of about.com has a lot of information too.

There are free lessons on youtube also. Search for free guitar lessons. Some people say they are good.
