Question:i have a schecter omen 6, it has a string thru body. i want to put a tremelo on it. how hard would that be and if you could put an estiment of how much it cost for someone else to do it that would be awsome. http://www.schecterguitars.com/index.asp

err.....the way the Schecter is built, you can't put a tremelo on it, or at least not without ruining the string thru resonance. My suggestion is keeping your Omen in one piece and looking for a cheap, possibly used dive-bomber from Dean, LTD, or Ibanez. Schecter built that guitar that way for a reason, and drilling holes to fit a tremelo below it's quality doesn't sound like a good plan. If you really don't want it, trade someone for one of the aforementioned guitars and wail away.
Personally, I'd wire the tremelo shut away. Don't like em.

Adding a floyd rose tremelo unit will require routing and a locking nut. In some cases ur fretboard will have to be radiused to suit the trem . IMO its better of to get a guitar which comes with a floyd
