are u sure u want to put yourself through that??

if u do u should pick a song thats different, no mareh carey, celion dion,christina or britney avoid songs by big divas, the panel will have heard them all good and bad at least a hundred times. it all depends on the type of voice u have too, are u bluesy, poppy, love songs, r'n'b?

unless your brilliant at power ballads stay away from them, maybe pick a song which was sung by the opposite sex, it shows that your orignal and can put your own mark on a song.

think of a song that u love to sing, whether its driving, or in the shower, if your enjoying yourself, it will show.

but at the end of the day its not just how u sound, its the whole package and x-factor is an incredibly shallow show.

Only you or someone in your family can tell you that, we here have no idea of what your range is or what music is best for you type of singing, you family will be honest with you, trust their opinion !!!!!!!! Good luck.
