Idyllwild arts academy?

Question:does anyone here know about the idyllwild arts academy? please answer if u went there or know anything about it. is it hard to get accepted into that school? for the music area, how good do u have to be to get in? im only in seventh grade and it might be a little early to start thinking about highschool, but i think im gonna need ALOT of time to decide on a school. i play the violin and heres a link to me playing the violin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wh8_vKLmQ...

Hun, I'm just an old man, and have never went to "Any" accademy, much less this one you mention. But, I do know Tallent when I see it, and you are Most-Definitely a VERY tallented young lady! You should have no-problem whatsoever getting accepted into any school, Or accademy you should decide to choose. Like you said you have time, But it is not too-early to be thinking of your future, that is a fact! There are no set guide-lines on when someone is allowed to determine what they would like to do with their lives, None at all. That being said, I know that after hearing you play, You are going to make it as a Violin Player no-matter what you decide. I was shocked to think you are only in grade seven! Sweety, I am not a talent agent, in the music industry, or anything like that. But I can tell you this from my whole-heart, You have a "Gift". You are an "Extremely-Gifted" young lady, And that I am sure of with all of my heart and soul. I cannot even begin to imagine how good you are going to be in another 15, 20 years. You will most likely, And I believe this, Be the lady sitting up front alone playing your Violin, and a Whole Orchestra behind you as back up. I am not even a big-fan of the Violin, But I do like some song's. The one you just played made me wish that I knew your real name, So I could follow your career from now on, and later, when you are older doing what I said, I would sit back and tell my grandkids, "I knew her from a place called Yahoo Answers, And told her this day would come kids"! But, Like I have told you, I'm pretty old right now, hahaha, And wont be around when that day comes anyways. I sure wish I was though. You have so-much of a Gift hun. God has certainly blessed you with such a wonderful Gift. The Gift of Music, and the Joy it brings to so many people's hearts and souls. I am just really really happy for you, :) and again, like I have said before, You should not have Any-Problems whatsoever in going to any accademy, or school you should choose. You're good!!! just keep practicing and give them something extraordinary at your audition..something that will make you stand out and memorable so they accept you.
If you're rejected it's not the end of the world! there are many other great music institutes

Well, i hear my brother playing this song all the time [personally it ruined the song for me!] and he's in high school, going to an extremely prestigious school. He's in the 3rd chair in the school orchestra. Although he was playing that song e year and a half before he got into that school, so you will have time to progress i'm sure. I don't exactly know how well they expect you to play at this school, but i hope this gave you a bit of an idea if you are good or not. I play the viola so I'm not really an expert on violin, but i think you play very well for your age.

Ok. I don't know anything about that school but here is what I suggest for you.

When you get older, open your own school. I was speechless as I watched you play the violin. It was incredible. You have so much talent. Seriously, you are that good. You were 13 in that video.

You don't suck. You are actually good and should practice your art further. Go to auditions. Artists make the schools great and known not the other way around. You have talent and should try anyway. AGAIN, you totally do NOT suck.

I've been there. If you have the money you'll get in. You might want to think about where it is though - it's in the mountains in the middle of nowhere. It's an hour drive to even Hemet - 90 minutes to Riverside. You'll be stuck there without a car. But if you're a "tree-hugger" it might be just the place.
