Position:Home>Performing Arts> What's the best broadway play to see?

Question:You are in luck! There is limited promo to see several shows for $20 each! Most are not well-known - but a few ARE. You can also go to www.showtixinc.com and see evertything that is running. I take bus trips of hundred of klids each year (I leave, perform, and teach 100 miles north of NYC). And I go a LOT on my own. Saw Sunday . . . this past week - and also saw it in 1984. WOW!!! Tickets prices are all over the lot - do NOT buy tickets from some rip-off agency online - it is extortion.

Sweeney Todd and defenitely the movie, too.

The Color Purple is by far the best broadway show to see. :-)

See Rent before it closes on June 1.

There's not really just one show I can pick.

Avenue Q
Gypsy
Hairspray
The Phantom of the Opera
Rent
Sunday in the Park With George
Wicked

Out of those, I would pick "Sunday" {I'm actually seeing it..} Stephen Sondheim is an AMAZING composer.

Here's a list of shows: http://www.playbill.com/events/listing/1...

{I would recommend Sweeney Todd - it's one of my favourite shows- but the revivals run ended in 2006. Btw....I hate the movie. Random fact, lol}

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!!

lol...you could...

But I would go to Phantom of the Opera

I like Sweeney Todd myself, although it is not for everyone.
Enjoy the show!
