4 cello?

Question:I have always wanted to play the cello, it is such a beautiful instrument. My whole family is musical, so I really need to get a cello. I do not have much money, but I want a real good one for a low, low, low price, unused, with all the accesories ( bow, resin cake, case, etc. ) because I am a very impatint person. Does anyone know where I could buy one, with really good quality? My price range is $0-$100 (ouch!!) HELP ME PLEASE!!

You will not find a good cello for less than $700. They are not cheap instruments. Any cello costing $100 would be hopeless to play on ; it would be a huge mistake attemping to learn on a bad instrument.

DO NOT BUY A CELLO OR ANY OTHER MUSICAL INSTRUMENT ONLINE.

Go to your local violin/cello shop and see what they have. You should always buy a string instrument from a violin shop so that it is set up correctly. Don't buy it from your general music/guitar shop ; they know nothing about violins or cellos.

You WON'T find a good cello for less than $500. However, the following link will direct you to a number of different brand cellos available in 3/4 and 1/2 size. Note these names, then look for them used on EBay.

It is not to your benefit to be an "impatient person." Purchasing any musical instrument takes time. Learn to be patient. It will serve you well in all aspects of life.
