Position:Home>Performing Arts> What is the biggest wind instrument?

Question:If you're talking about any instrument that uses wind, I would say the Pipe Organ. If you want something in the woodwind section (e.g. Flutes, Oboes, etc.) then is the Bassoon. If it's brass then the Tuba is the answer.

Actually the Contrabass Saxophone is the biggest woodwind instrument.

The contrabass saxophone is. It is more than 7 feet, or 2 meter in length. It has twice as much tubing as the bartione saxophone, which is the biggest most commonly played wind instrument. So, technically, the contrabass saxophone is twice the size of the baritone saxophone!!
