Seussical Costumes!?

Question:Okay guys! I need some fashion help! Well, i am Gertrude McFuzz in our school's production of Seussical, and I need to find a costume! So....heres what my director said i should have-

Gertrude-Baby blue jumper, blue or soft white tights, dance slipper or jazz shoe, blue feather boa for tail or blue leotard and dance skirt with tights and slippers. Gertrude is a very shy bird so her costume should be subdued and unassuming-not flashy in any way.
