I'm interested in buying an electric guitar but I have a few questions..?

Question:1. Bass guitar or Regular rhythm?
2. I'm new so what kind of price range should i be look at / as what companies?
3. How difficult is learning the guitar? I dont expect to become amazing over night, but i'd like to know what to expect.

well a bass guitar only has 4 strings so its easier to learn. and fender makes a quality beginners guitar. i have one myself and it sounds great...if you can play

i love bass guitars my ex had a band and he played electric and his best friend played bass i wanted to learn bass i learn one or their songs which was fast they played hard core music i learned a song in 3 days its very popular its called a warwick its about $2,000.00 some are 1,300.00 if your into slower type music then id go for the gibson which is also about $2,000.00
