How do you convince someone with a great talent that they are talented?

Question:I am a very picky person when it comes to discerning talent, but my girlfriend is an amazing dancer.

Unfortunately, she lacks the confidence to see her talent.

What can I do to show her how talented she is?

Maybe she needs to be in an environment
where others can see her ability and appreciate it.

A dance party with friends might be okay. But
what if she took some dance lessons where a teacher
can appraise her ability? Another thought is that
by taking lessons she will accomplish a goal, thus
building her confidence from the inside out. She will
also be exposed to other dancers. The right class
with the right instructor can be a great environment
for her to grow and build confidence.

tell them they're talented

Record her dancing, and show her the video.

Get her drunk at a bar and tell her to dance dance dance!

tell them it wont cost them money first

Let others help convince this person.

dance with her and show her how awful you are in comparison or take her to show her professionals doing it and ask her if she thinks she could hold a candle

She probably does realise how talented she is, and she's proably just being modest.. :)

Just grab a few friends and dance like idiots around her, and then she'll realise she's pretty good..
