When she was on the Today show, Ann Curry references Barbara Streisand and Bette Midler when she is talking about Idina not choosing just one thing (theatre, music, film, etc.) But I don't really know enough about these two women to tell if that's the case.

Well since we're on Broadway stars, Sherie Rene Scott is very talented, and so is Patti LuPone. But they haven't really done film. Hmmm...what about Anthony Rapp? He's done all of the above. Idina is really awesome though! I need to get her new CD
