Right foot - bass drum
left foot - high hat
left hand - snare drum
right hand - high hat, cymbals

Theleft foot holds the timing and the right foot, counts the beat and variable.
Your right arm counts in double time usually. Ex: 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 . This depends on the denominator.
The left arm counts one beat per measure or per 4 beats.

for a typical rock beat in 4/4 time (anything by the Beatles for example)
right foot/bass drum might play on 1 and 3
left hand/snare drum might play on 2 and 4
left foot/high-hat might play 1,2,3 and 4 or 16th notes
right hand/cymbal/hi-hat 1,2,3 and 4 or 16th notes
