Position:Home>Performing Arts> Does anyone know the fingerings to these notes on flute?

Question:The two notes are C# 5 lines above the staff and the D on the 6th line above the staff. I know they are possible because teachers at my university have played them. However, I've never been exposed to them and I need to practice the D scale in 3 octaves.

Try
C# = -2-/4--
D = --3/45- Eb

The - indicate the fingers which are off and the numbers are the fingers which are on!

this should be it ( look toward the bottom of the page)

and for the D, click the button on the bottom that says Go to 4th Octave Fingering or something like that

For the C#, I use 2(middle) & 4(pinkie) of the left hand (no thumb) and 1(index) of the right hand.
And for the D: thumb, 3(ring) of the left hand, 1 & 2 of the right hand, and the low C roller.

You'll have to play around with them and see which gives you the best sound.
