Alto sax and flute? Good brands?

Question:I've been playing the flute for six years, and the alto saxophone for four. I'm looking into purchasing a professional brand of each instrument. Can anyone help??! For flute I was looking at the Muramatzus and loved them, but they're way expensive. Maybe a few more years. And what do you think about the Selmer Mark VI for sax?

If you're looking at professional instruments I would suggest the following

Sax: Selmer, Yamaha, Keilwerth, Yanigisawa. These are most well known and they are all excellent instruments. You'll have try each of them to pick one you like.

Flute: Powell, Muramatsu, Haynes, Brannen, Miyazawa. These are all excellent, I play the Miyazawa and absolutely love it.
