What is Avenue Q rated?

Question:I am just curious cuz it sounds funny. I have been listeneing to the music. all it said online was that it wasn't appropriate for 12 and under. (If you don't already know, Avenue Q is a Broadway show.) Also on Seasame St., wasn't there an Avenue E or something like that? Thank you!

It doesnt technically have a rating...it just has mature themes. Its not like a o or something it just talks and makes fun of some controversial things so its not one for little ears so to speak lol. Its very good though...

They don't really 'rate' Broadway shows, but if you've been listening to the music, you have to know that there are some mature subjects discussed. I wouldn't take anyone to see it that I didn't think was old enough for the 'sex talk' that's for sure.

It's like Sesame Street but for adults.
I would rate it R (if using the movie rating system)

This musical is not for everyone. I would say you have to have a dirty mind(not necessarily a bad thing) and be liberal and open minded.
