Position:Home>Performing Arts> What your reaction about your clowning?

Question:First, that's not a clear question. If you mean "What is your reaction to clowns?", then I would say that some clowns are scary and some are beautiful. The scary ones are just people using the costume and makeup to their own ends, and making a bad name for all clowns. The real clowns are the ones who have spent their lifes learning the art form and try to make a difference in the world through that art.
If you are asking me personally about "My reaction to my clowning?", then i would say that it makes me happy. I get to perform an artform that when it's done right can make people laugh and think at the same time. And all the laughs and the smiles make it worth the battle of getting people to see past the makeup and costume into the humanity that is the clown.

Clowning is a great way for people to blow off steam.

I guess if that's your gig then whatever but I find them kind of creepy.

Plus John Wayne Gacy kind of really put a damper on it.
