You will have to audition 2 songs, take a sight reading test, and they will give you a lesson to see how well you comprehend. Then if they like you at audition they will invite you back to New York. Another good music/piano school is Emerson College in Boston. Keep Practicing.

Do you only do piano? Or do you take sports, clubs etc and have an average-good GPA. Julliard looks for not only one talent, but for the multi-talented. Since you are only a freshmen, you still have plenty of time to work towards your goal. Keep the grades up, join a team and who knows, you might even get some scholarship $$. Good luck and keep on practicing! Also, both of a parents are music teachers and they went to Susquehanna University. Maybe a good alternative? Check out the site. http://www.susqu.edu/

I don't know the requirements but always have an alternate plan ready to go. Sort of like plan A, B & C. But you should go for that career if that's what you're good at. Work hard and always let it be labor of love for music and never a task or chore. Good Luck and I hope for your success and happiness.
