well first off, do you WANT to be considered a band geek. i consider myself one and i think it is a good thing on some aspects.
you are a band geek if...
-you mark time to songs on the radio and dont realize your doing it

-you count measures rhythems in those songs as well

-you roll step when walking

-you stay in step with others when you are walking down the hall

-you practice ALL the time. i mean because of it you have NO social life.

-you are in love with your instrument

-you love your band director with the intensity of a thousand suns lol.

-you write music for yourself

-you write music in general.

-you would rather be at band practice than on summer vacation or a weekend

there are many more, but these are the biggest ones i can think of.

you love band, and you like to participate in anything the band offers

Bandgeek is a badge of honor. Anyone that actually practices, stays off drugs, cares about things, uses good diction and vocabulary, has a refined sense of humor and doesn't define themselves by others' stereotypes. Be proud.
