The Screen Actor's Guild is not on strike. The Writers Guild is. SAG members are honoring the strike and not crossing picket lines.

Writers are striking because production companies and networks are making episodes of television shows available for download online, and the writers receive no compensation for their work shared in this manner unlike residuals they receive when the shows are televised.
