if it has 3 metal strings E A D (the big strings) and the other 3 G B E are nylon and they are the skinniest strings then it most likely a nylon string classical guitar and I paid 12 dollars for a set 2 weeks ago, if in doubt take the instrument into the nearest music store that sells strings and ask them for the right strings for your guitar, have fun tuning it though as they seem to stretch for days, always going lower than it was originally tuned. I tune a little high then play it while they stretch in, it's a lot faster that way.

No i think a classical guitar has all nylon strings. i could be wrong though.

Take it to a music store. Those "metal" strings (if they are metal) should NOT be on that guitar if it is a classical guitar - they could damage the neck.
