Question:I was shocked and dissapointed to see that such a public person as David Allen Coe would own up to a piece of composition such as that. But I suppose anything goes in the name of artistic freedom. What do you all think? This writer has done a parody or satire of it:

I have never heard of him. But if he writes racist stuff, that is probably why.
I don't like rap either, I'm kind of old fashioned.

Umm if I'm not mistaken David Allen Coe has about a million different songs about that certain racist subject.

Are you for real? What the hell, have you been asleep or what, for the last 25 or 30 years? David Allen Coe has so many songs like that, it isn't even funny, to coin a phrase. It is what he is MOST known for! He is so well-known for it, that when other such songs are heard, David Allen Coe is often given the "credit" for it.

He has done so much bad stuff that it IS funny; but three or four good songs have saved him.
