When artists write songs, they don't sit down for 5 minutes, get up and have a chart-topping hit.

There once was a situation in which John Lennon wrote about half a song, and he was very frustrated with it, so he put it away for that day. He was digging through the trash to find something he lost, when he found a piece of paper that had half of a song that Paul wrote, but got too frustrated and threw it away. They fused John's song and Paul's song and it became "A Day In The Life." (Ask any Beatles and they will tell you it is one of their best.)

So its not easy to write a song. Even the best had trouble, so for you it will develop over time.

Tweak it and tweak it until YOU are happy. Some of the best songs in the world don't make sense to you and me, but make complete sense to you.
